RELEVANT

Our primary goal is to demonstrate and communicate historical, Biblical Christianity in the context of our current culture.  We believe the Christian message in all its fullness and potency can be transferred to a people while empowering them to creatively engage the culture.  We regularly choose to think outside the proverbial religious box to find methods and strategies to reach the people of our community.

RELATIONAL

True Biblical living should be demonstrated by harmonious relationships with other people.  Common wisdom shows us that life is a team sport. We seek to operate with a team approach, knowing that no one person has all the gifts and answers by themselves. We desire to live with a healthy, mutual dependency upon one other.  This relational commitment also extends to those outside our comfortable sphere of friends, and we recognize the importance of actively including people of all generations, races, genders, and ethnicities.

TRUSTWORTHY

History is full of tragic tales of the abuse of  power and money by religious leaders and organizations.  In light of this we have chosen to establish this church on a foundation of accountability.  We operate with the creativity of a staff-led model, coupled with the accountability of board governance. Click here for our official bylaws.  We maintain active local board members who oversee every aspect of church operations, including fiscal responsibility. EMPOWERING

We reject the religious notion that the world of faith is controlled and executed by a few highly trained and gifted individuals.  Milestone Church exists to encourage, empower and equip all people to make a difference in the lives of people all around us.  We believe that the most effective method of making an impact in our world is not a highly specialized church experience, but a highly mobile and empowered community of Christ-followers.
